Sector Notes (2017)[edit]

June 24, 2017: TravellerMap.com - The Trailing border of the Zhodani Consulate was pulled from Riadr (A) and Etlieejibia (E) subsectors today. Formerly, the borders claimed most of Riadr and all of Etlieejibia. Thankfully, this User has hardcopy records of the previous map of the Sector. What has changed, under what source and why? Between 35% and 50% of the social, political and economic situation under this new Sector map has been altered, rendering much of the wiki content for the Sector defunct. This User can only hope that there has been some error in editing or backing up the displayed data for Knoellighz Sector. The Pakkrat (talk) 16:01, 24 June 2017 (EDT)

Sorry, Pakkrat. Let's talk with Josh later. Not a mistake.
General restructuring for Galaxiad adjustments as Zho space is filled in.

Pakkrat Notes (2016)[edit]

I have completed the regeneration and listing of the duplicate worlds in Knoellighz, putting them up on the wiki.

Note that I left the original data below the subsectors, just in case we need to go back. It is my hope to see the new data reflected upon the TravellerMap soon. In regenerating the duplicates and then comparing them with the original data, there is so much story potential and many things to say about the worlds of this Sector:

Amber Zones (Vargr version of course)

  • Captured Governments/ Colonies
  • Strange local Customs and Culture
  • Suggested Cx (subsector capitals)
  • Suggested Cs (Sector Capital)
  • Triangle trade in Zarthurrue subsector
  • lack of Naval Bases in Khuzedhoth subsector
  • the Bridge of Destiny (Jump-1 main)
  • the Gateway to Goekhnael Sector (Jump-1 main)
  • the UOSA Syndicate Privateers and their UOSA Secret
  • Tech competition between Serue and the UOSA Secret (Dzagok 2436) Just where is this other High technology coming from?
  • Zhodani "Crystal Wall" of Knoellighz
  • the Quiet Wars
  • Psionics in Knoellighz, both Zhodani and Vargr brands
  • Ancients Time Capsules

An interesting feature of Knoellighz Sector is that stellar density is so evenly spread across its boundaries that eventually a Jump-2 starship can travel the entire Sector with a modicum of detours.

I would argue that in Riadr Subsector, Inafrsti is a better Subsector Capital than Iezhdebdleflsha on grounds of planetary environment, Population, Importance and Culture versus Tech Level. There is a list of attributes and locality in that subsector that support my theory. The Pakkrat (talk) 08:26, 25 June 2017 (EDT)

...and a few other weird topics that would make for a great Sector Sourcebook: Knoellighz

  • From Cartography at Serue (Knoellighz 1221), this is the Pakkrat for Net-7 News.

Failing (-1 to -3) and Doomed (-4 to -8) Worlds of Knoellighz Sector

The following worlds of Knoellighz Sector are Failing, slowly to rapidly or are Doomed and in need of emigration, evacuation, or mass exodus. Referees should adjust upwards the number of refugees needing Low, Middle and High Passage from these worlds. Though the Vargr do not use Amber or Red Zones, Failing worlds should otherwise be assumed by Imperium Scouts as Amber Zones. Doomed worlds rate a Red Zone status, ships being welcome only to take on refugees.

Two Spellings (2015)[edit]

There are two spellings of this sector. One is Kh, the other is Kn. So for the worlds you need to verify the spelling. We should make sure the sector name is correct, as the wiki has switched between them several times. Tjoneslo (talk) 14:23, 10 October 2015 (EDT)

Thank you, TJonesLow.

Sector Notes (2015)[edit]

User: Tjoneslo, would you please look into why worlds aren't showing up in this sector, but are showing up in the subsectors when you have a chance? Thanks! Maksim-Smelchak (talk) 08:37, 10 October 2015 (EDT)

  • SectorWorlds works but the same program in version 2 or 3 do not work. Strange. Older code? Maksim-Smelchak (talk) 10:32, 10 October 2015 (EDT)
