In Chuck Kallenbach's 1991 Paranoia Press updates, the Drak-Arr Alliance roughly corresponds with a polity in the coretrailing part of The Beyond that lies within the cluster of stars directly between Die Weltbund and the Mal'Gnar Primarchic.

• This cluster was originally unlabelled on the Old Paranoia Press material, though the old print versions of The Traveller Map designated a small unspecified polity in this location.
• Sunbane data located the Katanga Empire in roughly this position, but that polity was definitely smaller in size.
