Note that the Eslyat Magistracy is a "sub-polity" of the Comsentient Alliance, many of whose members are either other sub-polities or independent member worlds.

Note that in the de-canonized Sunbane stellar data used for the Paranoia Press 1991 Updates, the Eslyat are relocated to trailing of the Colonnade Province (Subsectors B & C) from their prior location in the Comsentient Alliance, to the area that had been previously been identified as the Altarean Confederation in the original 1981 Paranoia Press publication (the same location as in the T5SS-Atlas version using Don McKinney's 2015 Updates), but which is now identified as the Tellerian Cluster in the current Mongoose publication The Spinward Extents.
