The Rothman's Rabble is an astrographic feature located in the Reaver's Deep Sector.

Description (Specifications)

Rothman's Rabble, also known as the Herod Cluster, is a cluster of five systems.

• All five systems are located in the Urlaqqash Subsector.
  • Three systems are members of the Principality of Caledon.
  • The remaining two systems are Non Aligned polities.

History & Background (Dossier)

The highest population world in the cluster, with approximately seven billion inhabitants, is Herod (Urlaqqash Subsector, 2930). As such, the cluster is often known by the alternative name of Herod Cluster. New Eden (Urlaqqash Subsector, 2929) is the lowest population world in the cluster with approximately two million inhabitants.

The cluster is typically named for the mainworld Rothman (Urlaqqash Subsector, 2829). This world supports both an important naval base and military base which serves to protect the coreward and trailing frontier of the Principality of Caledon from perceived Imperial encroachment. The meaning of the term "rabble" and the reason for its application to the cluster's name is unknown.
