  • In the year 1102, a rebel group attempted to take over the government. The rebels were led by Enoc su-Krang. The war had gone on for several months, and the loyalist forces seemed on the verge of complete and total collapse when a loyalist commando strike supposedly killed su-Krang. The rebel army began to disintegrate immediately, and most of the high rebel leadership switched sides. Enoc su-Krang was never confirmed killed as his body was never found, and since then there have been various small uprisings, all supposedly in his name. During this war the world had been classified as an Amber Zone, but the relative peace since has seen this rescinded.

Pynchan has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair.
