Built on Oromet (world) for the Protectorate of Leset. These TL–11 Grav Tanks are designed to advance against the enemy under heavy fire. The VRF Gauss gun is equipped with point defense fire control, the plasma gun is considered less powerful than standard, the TAC missile launcher is intended to compensate for this. The 165.5 tons of armor requires more power to move, therefore less power available to the main gun. It is considered compact and expensive by some military analysts. No expense was spared to ensure it was an effective design with all available features.
Protectorate Grav Tank, TL 11[edit]
The vehicle has a crew of three (driver, gunner and commander). It has thick crystal iron hull plates and the front of the turret and chassis have 40 cm of radially sloped armor. It mounts a plasma gun, VRF Gauss gun and a laser rifle in a fully stabilized rotating turret on the chassis deck. The sensors and communications are considered good with excellent range which permits satellite uplinks while on the move. The TAC missiles allow it to engage light and fast vehicles at a distance thanks to the 50km range of its sensors.
Chassis and Turret:[edit]
- Height: 2m (+0.5 m turret); Width: 4m; Length: 7m.
- Total usable volume: 48.4m³

Full weapons stabilization.
Dorsal Turret[edit]
Primary Weapons The Grav Tank mounts a 14.445 megawatt output, plasma gun, and TL–11 direct fire control. It can engage a single target and is spotted when it fires.
Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
1.86 km (53)3cm(37) | 3.72 km (40)2cm(24) | 7.44 km (13) |
The dorsal turret mounts a co-axial VRF Gauss Gun equipped with TL 11 point defense fire control. It rolls 8 dice versus indirect fire missions.
Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
1.5 km (21)+8 | 3 km (19)+6 | 4.5 km (17)+3 |
The main VRF Gauss Gun has storage for 60,000 rounds, enough to allow 46 fire phases of sustained fire. It can engage 16 targets in 15 seconds and has a +4 signature.
Coaxial Mount
Effective Range | Long Range | Extreme Range |
180m (9) | 360m (4) | 1,800m (1) |
This laser rifle has a 100 shot can also be used to designate targets in a low power mode, for artillery rounds and some of the TAC missiles carried.
TAC Missile Systems
The Grav Tank has a 50kg capacity launch tube in the turret with a twenty missile magazine. The IR Follow-up missiles add +8 to the penetration. The missiles are available in long range and hyper velocity interceptor variants. The homing, IR follow-up, and target designated missiles use a massive 30cm HEAP 59 warhead or HE 37/6/6, BUT only have a 1km range. The teleguided missiles use a 21cm HEAP 54 or HE 32/5/5 warhead, they have a 14km or 4km +10DM range. The operator guided missiles +3DM to hit, with a radio command link, use a smaller 15cm HEAP 48 or HE 26/4/4 warhead, with either 64km or 54km +10DM range.
Type | Range | Price |
Homing | 1km | HEAP Cr469 or HE Cr421 |
Target Designated | 1km | HEAP Cr569 or HE Cr521 |
IR Follow-up | 1km | HEAP Cr569 |
Teleguided | 14km or 4km +10DM | HEAP Cr1,782 or HE Cr1,768 |
Operator Guided | 64km or 54km +10DM | HEAP Cr263 or HE Cr257 |
The launch system can carry additional reloads if space in the cargo bay permits. One crew member is required to manually reload the magazine internally. (20) operator guided missiles with a radio command link and HEAP 48 warheads are included in the price.
