The Minister of Commerce is the Administrative Head of the Ministry of Commerce.
The Minister of Commerce is appointed by the Emperor and reports directly to him. Note that the office of Minister of Commerce attracts the noble rank of Duke.

The Minister is in charge of advising the Emperor on matters relating to Trade and Commerce.
The Minister of Commerce is based at the Imperial Capital.
