History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Conservatory focuses heavily on practical learning and performance, rather than the more academic aspects of music. It holds a vast range of musical instruments of all kinds.
Performers and performing groups come from all over the Imperium to study and perform here.
- The performance facilities are superb, and the Conservatory has a library of music that many claim is unequaled within the Imperium.
- Its holdings include compositions from the ancient Kilatis' of Baarid Garuud, the Claconas, and Fugues of Dietrich Bixtehude, to the most modern compositions of Bran Ralu, Eafeahkhail Eeskha, and Robin Garcia.
- The Conservatory includes the music and drama of Droyne, Hiver, Vargr, and non-Imperial Aslan cultures.
Once every local year the Conservatory hosts the Iilodav Music Festival.
