The star Kitalpha (otherwise known as Alpha Equulei) is a binary star system composed of a light yellow-orange giant star of spectral class G7 orbited by a bluish-white A5 class main sequence dwarf.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Kitalpha B orbits Kitalpha A in a circular orbit at a distance of 0.66AU, completing one orbit once every 98.8098 days.
- The Kitalpha star system lies approximately 58.3 pc from Terra, and is located in a Corespinward/Spinward direction from Terra at bearing 056.4o Galactic Longitude and -28.7o South Galactic Latitude.
