Kiirishi is a fluid world with an oceanic geography of a liquid other than water such as ammonia, methane, hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquids. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. This world is a satellite of a gas giant or another planet in the system. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Argi Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Kiirishi, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world. During the Long Night this world was named Duurin Ush.

Kiirishi is a satellite of a gas giant; the atmosphere is composed of an unbreathable irritant gas.

History and Background

A small colony was established deep within the planetary crust which exports rare chemicals found on the surface. The population all wear full face masks in public. It is believed this custom evolved from forced wearing of respirators. The natives believe an uncovered face to be obscene.

World Starport (St)

Kiirishi has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
