Khumsada has a short-sleeve breathable atmosphere. The system has a population between 100 million and a billion sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Arnakhish Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Khumsada, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and the fiefdoms of a baron and a viscount. All three are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. During the Long Night this world was named Kaammii.

Khumsada is a pleasant garden world with a temperate climate. The starport has been restricted to a class-C facility (although it is particular luxurious) and the number of visitors is restricted.

Two minor continents straddle the equator; vast chains of islands, most formed by volcanism, trail into the oceans.

History and Background

The world is regarded as one of the premier holiday destinations in the subsector. Some of Khumsada's major selling points are the breathtaking scenery and the incredible diversity of native life. The world has few other usable resources and the local government is keen to preserve its scenery and natural heritage. Khumsada is also known for fine quality vegetables, fruit, and wines.

World Starport (Sp)

Khumsada has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
