History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

This world is home to the Tiykhisto Clan, who also control the nearby Hewekho (Trojan Reach 2232) system. They recently migrated to Khtiyrlo from Riftspan Reaches Sector and are still taming the jungles of their new home and fortifying the system.

A War of Assassins has been declared between the Tiykhisto and their Ahroay'if Clan rivals.

  • To defend against attacks, all ships visiting the world are searched for assassins and all Tiykhisto nobles wear full armour at all times.
  • Ahroay'if have also begun a trade embargo against the Tiykhisto, cutting them off from the Aslan industrial planets of the Riftspan Reaches.

The General Development Company is one of the few human corporations permitted to trade on Khtiyrlo.

World Starport[edit]

Khtiyrlo has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

World Population (P)[edit]

Khtiyrlo has a population of 20,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).

  • The population consists of Aslan.

World Languages[edit]

  • Trokh: The universal language of the modern Aslan monoculture.
    • Aslan Languages: Note that some Aslan clans retain obscure or archaic languages for personal use in addition to Trokh.

Urbanization[edit]

Aslan architecture tends to the organic and the rounded. They favour artistry over efficiency in the design of their buildings -- every Aslan structure is different. Even in mass-produced housing, residents will strive to make their territory uniquely theirs.

  • Since Aslan descend from predators and enjoy open terrain, their buildings often feature both open rooms of great size and a number of concealed rooms, balconies, hidden passageways and hideaways.
