Eaaoaies is a nonindustrial hellworld with a population struggling to survive in an inhospitable environment.

  • Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes even hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants. Survivors often develop intense survival skills and tend to be grim realists.
  • It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
  • This world is part of the Aslan Hierate, controlled by the Tlaukhu Bloc 2, composed of the Syoisuis clan, in the Kilrya Subsector of Ealiyasiyw Sector.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

The planet combines tectonic activity and volcanoes with low temperatures. The dim red star doesn't provide much energy. The atmosphere is very cloudy. The atmospheric pressure is pretty good despite the lower gravity.

Ilreakh has a solitary primary star.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Honor based dueling was very prevalent in the early days when the population was lower and resources were very scare. Survival often depended on how good a fighter you were. As the population grew and off world clan influence grew the dueling became less frequent, the locals and especially the city dwellers take great pains to offer no offense to their superiors, overtly. Now duels are public spectacles for entertainment. They are judicial sentences or ritualistic between competing interests to settle disputes on matters of honor. Especially popular fighters have been known to travel off world as minor celebrities. Battles are not always to the death.

Other Data[edit]

Non-canon: The native born Aslan tend to be weaker due to the unhealthy conditions. Clan mercenary troops raised off world are used to maintain order. They are promoted based on heroic actions in the service of their clan leaders. The harsh environment necessitates imported battle drones which patrol the murky outskirts on anti-gravity. These remotely operated robotic gunslingers prowl looking for an excuse, any excuse to unleash their arsenals. Space travel is a major interest and local born families compete for ways to get their children off world for better opportunities. The locals are stable with a small wealth gap. Only 30% of the population is rural, most stay within the larger city complexes. Local education is good with a near 100% literacy rate. Local life expectancy is 76.9 years. Most families average two children. The elder is trained to replace their parents and the younger is trained for off world or space related trades. The current gender ratio of 1.41 males:female. Ceremonial art and music is appreciated. There are strong taboos about addiction, many outcasts are drunks or addicts. "Trouble-makers" often run afoul of the clan mercenaries, deservedly or not. Personal freedom is suppressed, families channel their energy in promoting their children to escape the cycle of life here. Strangely, successful children rarely return here to visit.

  • The government officials are promoted based on merit testing which is strictly enforced to maintain objectiveness and security. Efforts are made to avoid clan favoritism and political manipulations. Enlistment quotas are always full as many families see military and naval service as a path to success. Natural resources are difficult to access and process. Food imports are greatly appreciated.
