Flying Drynet are unrelated to other drynet species - but are visually very similar other than the skin flaps between the arms that are spread for gliding.

Physiology & Ecology

Flying Drynet inhabit the trees on the plains of eastern Gabrael. As the world has dried, these creatures have survived by extending their ability to jump between those trees - they can glide up to 50m.

Diet & Trophics

These are omnivores that will occasionally deliberately attack and kill creatures to supplement their diet. They don't engage in the attack directly, using large seedpods dropped from treetops as their weapon of choice. These are only available in their trees for short periods each year and thus this behaviour is time-limited.
