Enigma Sector

The appellation Enigma Sector is the name by which the Diaspora Sector was generally known during the period of the Long Night.

History

During the Long Night, in the period during which the Kingdom of Sylea grew into the interstellar Sylean Federation, and eventually in the early Third Imperium that arose out of it (and had reign in what had until then been known as the Ukan Sector), many in the Imperial Core knew the Diaspora Sector as the "Enigma Sector". At the time only the Union of Sufren in the Diaspora Sector had been able to maintain a shaky hold on interstellar culture when it was finally contacted by traders of Cleon Zhunatsu's Third Imperium.

By 330, the sector had been incorporated into the Third Imperium and was once again known by its ancient regional name, Diaspora Sector.
