A Doctorate is the third rung on the ladder of educational awards.
All Doctors may user the Honorific Doctor or the abbreviation of Dr. before their names
- Medical Doctors are entitled to use the letters M.D. after their name.
- Doctors of Philosophy may use Ph.D.
- Doctors of Law may use LL.D.
