Dobson

A city on Anaxias. One of the major surface cities, Dobson has a population of 20 billion.

While most offworld trade is conducted at Sabo, the vast majority of ore shipments leave Anaxias through Dobson Downport. The orbital complex known as Dobson 2 holds the local naval shipbuilding contracts and is known for its high-quality products.

Dobson is a mining town established so long ago that no accurate records of its founding have survived. The city was renamed after the Pacification Campaigns for the admiral who gave his life to save the city from invading forces. While the culture is primarily Vilani, Dobson has a large lower class of races from all over the Imperium who work as miners in its lower levels.

Dobson's lower portion is rather dirty, and it gives the entire city a reputation for filth.
