Descar

The official state language of the Descarothe Hegemony.

Although officially an association of independent worlds, the Hegemony is in fact a budding empire not unlike dozens of other petty states in the frontier regions beyond the Imperium. The Descar language borrows from several precursors, including Vilani and Vlazhdumecta. The official version is somewhat artificial, with a wider tree of dialects being selectively pruned into a single “correct” form. This is the Descar used in all official government and military communications.

Grammar

Lengthy phrases are often condensed into single, shortened compound words.

• Mekhlezhakh Ranhivira Zhariskhor: Security Guardians of the Tribunal Lords. Known by the short form “Merazhar”, or MeRaZhar.
