Description (Specifications)

Chaff Grenades are designed to allow Infantry to temporarily screen their movements from radar observation. Each grenade will create a glittering cloud of chaff about 10m across that lasts from a few seconds (high-gravity, strong wind) upwards (in Vacuum the cloud disperses faster than in an atmosphere due to the effects of atmospheric drag). Note that the chaff cloud is itself highly visible to both radar and optical observation, and that its optical obscuration effects are minor.
