The Narayana included a number of Elephants in its cargo, and the first baby was born in 7. The creatures were initially used as heavy labour in colony construction, and proved quite adept in that role.
The original Elephant House, constructed to shelter the creatures, is now still present in the Terrarium in Touchdown City
