New Chennai Inc has created a rugged and reliable automatic rifle at a relatively high technology level and using various composite materials (making it lighter than the designs from Earth) and it still uses the standard 7mm rifle ammunition.
This is the standard rifle of Shelter's armed forces. Note that the military issue version comes with a built-in telescopic and light-intensifying scope to enable that army to compete with the most modern of equipment supplied to New Heaven's forces.
