Description

The exact ownership of Asteroid K86932r4 is not clear, but there was certainly a (wholly deniable) link to part of the Research arm of the Deneb Fleet.

Funding was via several companies and individuals (Human and Vargr) with no actual existence or with circular ownerships.

What the base at the asteroid was set up to achieve was unclear - they were certainly assembling a spacecraft based on hull-technology printed by an Ancients device - when they could get it to operate - but the base appears to have been closed down several times over its life due to access issues and (presumably) funding and supply troubles. The device's source is also unclear - the current location seems to have been chosen relatively recently as paperwork shows the asteroid to have been moved.

Where Mozasannani originated from is also unclear. That it has been touched by the Virus is indisputable.

Asteroid K86932r4 is at a secret location and is powered down. At the end of 1138 it was orbited by several bits of dead equipment - a Ship's Boat, a Scout and a Free Trader; several Advanced Probe Drones and bits of a mining drone. Its surface has three landing pads (one of which has a wrecked and partially stripped Scout Ship on it) and a pair of nearby buildings - plus a pit that is being mined for ice with another (also non-functional) mining drone and a broken cargo bot. Parts of several other robots lie about the landscape.
