Mainworld Data[edit]

Blukjere has a Routine Starport without shipyards, can perform Major repairs, and provides Unrefined fuel. The main world is roughly 10,400 kilometers in diameter, and is a Medium terrestrial, gravity is 0.75G. The otherwise standard atmosphere (1.1 atm) contains an unusual taint of hallucinogenic gases which requires the use of a filter mask. The surface is roughly 75 percent surface water, which qualifies it as a Wet world world. The main world has a general population of 200 Million local residents, which qualifies it as a Moderate population world. The local government is characterized as Religious Dictatorship, with government by a religious minority which has little regard for the needs of the citizenry. Visitors may find the law extremely restrictive as Weapon possession are regulated or restricted by local authorities.

World starport[edit]

Blukjere has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

World technology level[edit]

Blukjere possesses a Technology Level of TL–7.

  • Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Early video and early satellite communication networks.
  • Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fuel cells, solar energy, and geothermal power sources.
  • Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
    • Land: Improved automobiles, hovercraft, and bullet trains.
    • Water: Hydrofoils and early triphibians.
    • Air: Hang gliders and supersonic jets.
    • Space: Deep space probes and interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).

World government[edit]

Blukjere is governed by a Religious Dictatorship. The leadership of the government is another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy). There is a powerful independent organization, the state religion, which has influence or direct control of the government. Like the bureaucratic governments this may simply be a strong influence with a secular government, have direct influence by controlling who may be in the leadership, or be a direct theocracy where the church leadership and bureaucracy is the government.

World Law Level[edit]

Blukjere has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A few worlds with this law level may be a Red Zone and others will be an Amber Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors).
