Aslan Guard Regiment

The Aslan Guard Regiment is a Regiment-sized unit of the Third Imperium and part of Imperial Army Command, as part of the Imperial Guard.

Description (Specifications)

The Regiment guards the Emperor's person or is deployed in defence of the Imperium as required.

It consists of 3 Rapid Interface Battalions.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Aslan Guard Regiment was formed in 380 and was assigned to the Imperial Guard as part of the terms of the Peace of Ftahalr. The Regiment was formed, partly, as a signal that the Emperor had sufficient trust in the loyalty of Imperial Aslan to place his personal security in their care -- and partly to ensure that there was a group of guards outside the human-o-centric whirl of palace politics.

Those guard members who have no other land to retire to are granted land on Eikhoifiruah.
