Artifact Ganiir 4132 is an Ancient artifact discovered during the Second Imperium. It is known from excerpts published posthumously from the diaries of Professor William Mann of Deraan University. The artifact was designed to fit a Droyne-shaped hand and was able to project a spherical variable-range energy-absorbing field that caused the cessation of all molecular motion, creating an effective "stasis field".

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Artifact Ganiir 4132 was discovered prior to the Long Night on the world Ganiir in the Vland Sector (Vland 0921/Akumid Subsector). The artifact was kept under tight security by government agencies of the period, and its exact whereabouts were eventually lost to history during the Long Night.
