- Sylean expansion fleets move into the Khekaa system for gas giant refueling. Local barbarian forces attempt to interfere. The Sylean pro consul lands eight marine divisions following orbital bombardment, reducing the starport and dramatically lowering the population. In honor of the victory the planet is renamed Ameros (world). A Naval Base is constructed with conscripted labor and a naval presence is left behind to secure the planet, it remained hostile. The governor-general placed in charge, marries a local noble woman of the Andhra dynasty, which did not the desired effect of consolidating power. The natives held great resentment for some time, eventually necessitating an amber travel rating. The fierce local tribesman were recruited as mercenaries for centuries after due to their fighting reputation and protected forces fighting abilities. Much latter attempts to terraform this planet were seen by natives as imperial appeasement and met with limited success.
