Universal Codes are a means of presenting information in a concise format that is common amonst all worlds. These codes tend to be human specific, notably the Imperium and the Solomani Confederation make use of them. Codes use a hexidecimal representation for the characters, sometimes extended through the rest of the alphabet (except for I and O) to allow single character representation of numbers up to 33. Separators (usually a -) are used to differentiate sections, and some have been extended from the original definition.
