The Nexxies are a variant Human race, recently genetically engineered to help expoit the water world of Nexine (Spinward Marches 3030). The Nexine Mining Consortium was granted the license to mine resources from Nexine, but most high tech mining methods damage the local enviornment and prevent the creation of Gemores. The first true Nexxies were bred in 1096, making them the youngest human race.
