A Main is a grouping of systems, forming a chain of worlds, all reachable by a Jump-1 capable starship.

A quick template to copy the first (unnamed) section (or other named section) of a specific page. Parameters:
- name : Name of the page to copy from
- section: Defaults to first unmarked section of the page, otherwise supply the name of the section (the header) you want included.
- {{Summary of page|name=Regina Subsector}} - included the first section of the Regina Subsector article.
- {{Summary of page|name=Drakarans|section=Drakaran Physiology}} - includes the section on Physiology from the Drakarans article.
