TBD is a nonindustrial world, that requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.

Sokarn (1120 Far Home and its moon are the only large bodies in the system, and orbit close to the primary. Tidal stresses cause extreme vulcanicity on both worlds. The economy revolves around harvesting rare minerals and compounds. Sokarn lies on the Kuyt Chain Star Lane.
