TBD is a nonindustrial world, that requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.

Farin (0819 Halcyon is an Esaran colony with a population that now exceeds that of the homeworld. The planet is marginally habitable: within the subsurface city-states space is at a premium. Each city-state is funding large-scale building programs, and demand for construction materials is at an all-time high.
