Delin is a low-tech agricultural world located in Vald Subsector of Alpha Crucis Sector. The system is a member of the Solomani Confederation and has been assigned a Red Zone travel advisory.

The inhabitants of Delin are the descendents of survivors from a Terran sleeper ship that crashed around -2400, carrying a group of émigrés from Wales. During the Long Night the population grew but the society dropped back to TL 3. The small farming colony was rediscovered in the 850s.

Today Delin is perhaps the only world in the Confederation where the nearly extinct Terran language of Welsh survives. Delin has been interdicted by request of the Solomani Confederation’s Ministries of Information and Genetics in order to protect a unique Terran culture and language of the inhabitants and to better preserve its genetic heritage.
