• Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes even hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants. Survivors often develop intense survival skills and tend to be grim realists.
• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
• It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Laraa Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector in the Domain of Vland.
• During the Long Night this world was named Kirgii.
• This world was colonized by and is controlled from Shardi (world).

History & Background (Dossier)

A poor, non-industrial hell world in the Laraa Subsector of Dagudashaag.

• Andula is a member of the Imperium.
• The moderately-sized world has never been much more than an overspill colony for Kakar (Dagudashaag 2937), Proytheyath (Dagudashaag 3238), and Saven (Dagudashaag 3240).
• It is a minor trading port for many independent merchants that ply the Laraa Main.

Point of Interest: Sarsirka Library

Andula's primary note of importance is for the presence of the Sarsirka Library, a vast multi-story complex housing a huge collection of books, newspapers, magazines, other publications, and records from across the Imperium but with emphasis on the history and development of Dagudashaag.

• Although not as large as the long-established libraries of Terra (Solomani Rim 1827), Capital (Core 2118), and Vland (Vland 1717), it offers the user a great wealth of written and electronic information, specializing in interactive learning methods.
• The library is funded primarily by the major universities of the sector as well as receiving grants from the subsector administration.
• Indeed the world's population is often swollen by the presence of large numbers of students sent by the educational centers to help maintain the library and use its rich facilities.
