Chin Shan, subsector D of Crucis Margin has 33 worlds, of which 18 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 10 billion sophonts (not necessarily humans). There are 6 Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus one Non-Agricultural (Na) world. There are 13 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds versus one Industrial (In) world. There are 5 Rich (Ri) worlds versus 2 Poor (Po) worlds. There are 4 Water (Wa) and Ocean (Oc) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, one Desert (De) world, one Asteroid (As) belt, and one Vacuum (Va) world. There is one High population (Hi) world versus 5 Low population (Lo) worlds and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There is one Naval base and one Scout base. The highest population world is Pu Chou (Crucis Margin 2608). The highest tech level is C at Chin Shan (Crucis Margin 2602), and Kung-sang (Crucis Margin 2806). . The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 9).
