Kaldi Research, LRC is a prominent research and general science firm in the Regency. Kaldi has two main branches: a dirtside branch that does research for governments and corporations, and a spaceside branch that loans research and survey ships and their crews to various parties for whatever purposes their clients have in mind.
Kaldi operates at least three Regency research stations in the Spinward Marches.
- Beta on Yori/Regina,
- Epsilon on Vreibefger/Lanth, and
- Eta on Judice/Plankwell.
Kaldi tends to concentrate in the physical sciences, and avoids military contracts whenever possible.
