- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Reidain Subsector of Foreven Sector.
Description (Planetology)
Chamax is the sole habitable planet in the Alenzar system. It was the home to an advanced, unnamed sophont people of quasi-crustacean appearance, but currently has no land life, save for one species of voracious eater that is simply called Chamax.
Its poles are highly glaciated, and the average temperature is cooler than Human standard.
History & Background (Dossier)
A sophont people inhabited Chamax, and were known to a few pre-Maghiz Darrians who traded with them. The Chamaxi never had the jump drive, although their world otherwise had TL 9 technology.
By 700 Imperial, visiting Darrian traders only saw ruin where once there was vegetation, animals, and cities.
