In Imperial Law, a Traitor is an individual seeking to destabilise or overthrow the Imperium.

Peers accused of Treason may only be tried in the Imperial High Court. Non-Peers are tried in the Imperial Criminal Courts.

If found guilty of Treason, the defendant is sentenced to death.
