The Lance class Madium Fighter is an Imperial fighter.

It was designed following the Fifth Frontier War, as a result of the extremely poor performance of the then-current three classes of light fighters employed as auxiliaries by IGN warships. The Lance is armed with a Fusion gun barbette, giving it a huge offensive punch at short range.
