Description / Specifications

A small low tech personal transport vehicle designed for the civilian market.

Hull / Suspension

A boxy but generally streamlined steel hull. Length: 6m, Width: 1.8m, Height: 1.9m. Unloaded Weight: 2000 kg.

  • Overall volume: approximately 20m³ (1.5 dTons).
Note that the overall volume measures the vehicles maximum dimensions and includes road clearance. The contained volume of the contoured hull is substantially lower.

The vehicle is fitted with wheeled suspension.

  • The vehicle performs well on metalled surfaces but has a relatively limited off-road capability.

Power / Transmission

A small internal combustion power plant using hydrocarbon fuel: the design is basic and it has a relatively poor power to weight ratio. The fuel is contained within a protected tank.

Performance

  • Cruise Speed 60 kph, Top Speed 85 kph. Off-road speed less than 25 kph.
  • Range 600 km at cruise, 450 km at top speed.

Passengers / Cargo

An enclosed cabin containing two front seats and four rear seats – two additional passengers can be accommodated on the rear seats though such arrangements are cramped. The driver's position is fitted with basic mechanical controls and a console that provides information such as veolocity.

Internal cargo storage: 1.4m³. Maximum load: 1500 kg

Equipment

Headlights and running lights. Basic environmental controls (the hull is weatherproof but it is not sealed).

History / Background

A very basic vehicle available in a variety of body styles and colors. Despite its primitive nature the design is very robust and extremely reliable.
