2468AD. Sath explorers, moving to coreward, encountered human settlers in the Jacent system. The Sath vessels repeatedly refused to comply with certain flight restrictions that the humans requested. The humans scrambled their system defense forces and the Sath responded with weapons fire. In the ensuing engagement the armored, purpose-built, technologically advanced human combat vessels destroyed the lightly built Sath scout craft – those scouts represented a significant percentage of the Sath fleet.
History & Background / Dossier
The human rescued the Sath survivors and transported them back to the Sath outpost at Ik'sath. The humiliating events began the so-called Introspective Period.
