The star Muscida (otherwise known as Omicron Ursae Majoris) is a yellowish-white giant star of spectral type G4-5.

  • It should not be confused with the double star Pi Ursae Majoris which bears the same traditional historical name.

Description (Specifications)

The Muscida star system is approximately 54.9pc from Terra, and is located in a Rimspinward/Spinward direction from Terra at bearing 156.0o Galactic Longitude and +35.4o North Galactic Latitude.
