Hyumians are scaly, reptilian sophonts standing on average a little short of 2.0m tall and usually somewhat stronger than humans.
Native to Iriri (Leonidae 2925), they prefer dense atmospheres.
Their claws and teeth make formidable weapons, especially used in combination with a powerful tail. They're best avoided in close combat.
Adolescent Hyumians enter a stage of wanderlust which may last up to twenty years and compels them to travel from place to place until eventually they return home to settle down and raise a family.
