The Select Committee was appointed by the Third Imperium's Moot from the ranks of the Moot membership to supervise COMPNOR and it's branches (the Imperial Stormtroopers, the Sub-Adult Group, and the Coalition for Progress). Committee members invariably were members of the Imperial nobility.
