A Waypoint in deep space (3038 Far Home), a point lying between the K’shek cluster and the Hak'tha Spread. It lies approximately 2 parsecs from Sshkih (2837 Far Home), Tha'ki (3040 Far Home) and Saa Kaa (3239 Far Home). The Sath call it Ith-Saa-Ka (loosely 'Gateway' or 'Portal').

The area of space covered by the Waypoint (3038 Far Home) will eventually hold three separate refuelling and supply depots, each positioned approximately 1 light-year apart and each one relatively closer to one of the three destination systems. As of 5600AD only one (Sshkih Station) has been completed, with the remaining two still in the early stages of construction.

Sshkih station is a dispersed structure built around vast hydrogen holding and transfer facilities. It has extensive storage, large hangers, and accommodations and facilities adequate for thousands of individuals, though the current permanent population numbers only a few hundred. It is constantly attended by various small craft, it retains repair and rescue vessels, and huge streamlined tankers unload alongside long berthing arms. The station maintains a dedicated defense squadron.

The entire (3038 Far Home) hex is covered by navigational beacons. Each beacon contains emergency supplies and communications equipment and transmits navigational information enabling vessels to plot a course to one of the stations within the hex.
