The Halcyonic New Republic was a successor state to the Second Confederation in Halcyon Sector, founded in 3401AD.
- It had its capital at Scybria and its territory included the Afkhar Cluster, a region that was considered the heartland of the Expansionist faction during the civil wars.
Description / Specifications[edit]
Each member world was represented by Senators and the head of state was the President. It was heavily influenced by the so-called Mantlerist movement, declaring universal freedoms, personal liberty, and principles of social care as the underlying foundations of the state. The ordinary citizens had a strong dislike of privilege and throughout its existence there was internal friction with land-owning Fives.
History & Background / Dossier[edit]
In 3638AD the New Republic merged with the Collective of Nist to form the Grand Ascendency.
