They are a mottled, grey-black, robust rodent-like creature that breeds quickly and is considered a pest by most civilized beings. They eat dust, dirt, and scavenge almost any organic substance. Ztlat'lu, also know as Dust mice or plague mice, pick up and contact almost any disease, even those that do not affect rodents. Their immune systems are optimized to keep pathogens in the bloodstream, yet away from organs.
