As Admiral of the Spinward Marches Fleet, Santanocheev played a crucial - and controversial - role in the Fifth Frontier War.
His wife is the sister of Luis Adorania Jesten, Duke of Lunion.
He is a protégé of Delphine Adorania Muudashir, Duchess of Mora; both his elevation to Sector Admiral and his sacking from that role were part of the long term power-struggle between the Duchess of Mora and the Duke of Regina.
