PI is an abbreviation for 'Pre-Imperial', used to denote dates before the foundation of the Ziru Sirka.

PI is an abbreviation for 'Pre-Imperial', used to denote dates and (especially) centuries before the foundation of the Ziru Sirka.

Dates after the foundation of the Ziru Sirka are now denoted VI

The terms PI and VI are obsolescent in Imperium
