The Shoriv Accord is a mercenary rights accord signed by the Comsentient Alliance, Zydar Codominium, Die Weltbund, Nal"G'Nar, Sred*Ni, Eslyat Magistracy, various Aslan colonial states, and the Imperium in 965.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The accord provides for the rights on repatriation of mercenary bands following wars. Also has provionals for fair treatment of mercenary prisoners and the denouncement of massacres both by and against mercenaries. The punishment for violation of the latter provisions are mercenary contracts and trade embargoes against the offending nations. Mercenaries breaking their contract without cause or involved in cold-blooded massacre are punished by revoking their licenses and blacklisting.
