Numbered Imperial fleet stationed in Kamlar Subsector.
Non-canon
This subsector fleet is composed of two oversized squadrons. The idea was to retain a fleet with the same power as a normal subsector fleet which would typically have more squadrons assigned. It has turned out that maintaining these over sized squadrons is extremely taxing on the small local population and their economy. Many locals feel the trillions of credits could have been better spent. The ships were not manufactured locally and are actually quite old captured Aslan designs pressed into imperial service long ago. They are not widely popular with crews who complain that they are unfamiliar and therefore difficult to work on.
Takahira Deneb 1831 (B9C5223-8) has the 1982nd cruiser squadron assigned.

With redundant frozen crew and a relatively large computer to ensure missile hits in an ECM rich environment and a crude back up, this small scout can take some critical hits without being put out of action. The trio of nuclear tipped missiles are its only protection. The lone heroic marine is a staple in Aslan legend, to sally forth and capture an enemy merchant single handedly is a common fantasy. Imperial commanders usually leave this berth empty to give the crew more room.

A very offensively minded design with no abilities for self preservation, only in overwhelming numbers could this design be expected to stop a modern enemy.

These are actually large and very heavily armored asteroid monitors retro-fitted with jump drives. There is no internal jump fuel and the drop tanks present many logistical concerns.

Another paper tiger with heavy hitting firepower and no real thought of defensive counter measures. Wilderness refuelling is nearly impossible for this squadron.
